ABOUT SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

Nalla Narasimha Reddy Education Society has established the School of Management Sciences in the academic year 2009-10, with an intake of 60 students, offering Masters Degree in Business Administration affiliated to JNTU, Hyderabad. The Department offers specializations in the areas of Finance, Human Resource and Marketing Management. The Department has well qualified and highly experienced faculty in all this areas of specializations offers.

The School is committed to developing the next generation of leaders in management. The School was founded on intellectual rigor, and a culture of collaborative learning. The programs at the department seek to advance knowledge & practice amongst the students in order to prepare them to take up the challenge of business. Students have the opportunity to engage their minds with a distinguished faculty to develop their analytical skills, since the department sees this as critical in understanding management in the contemporary environment.

In addition to the theory and practical Sessions, the faculty members of the department encourage and support the students to take up active participation in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities like Project Works, Case Studies, Seminars, Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, Sports, Games etc., in and out the institute. The faculty members actively participate in workshops, training programmes in and outside the institute. The faculty believes attending these programmes strengthen the teaching practices. On the other side faculty member’s regularly engages with presentation papers at various National and international level conferences.

MBA at NNRESGI provides a rich learning environment with modern infrastructure, provides highly qualified and efficient faculty with effective pedagogy to groom each student to become competent for the global job market. The School focuses on Communication Skills , Management Activities like Business quiz, Poster Presentation, Case Studies, Product launch & Mock Interviews,Guest Lectures from various Industry & Industry Visits.

School of Management Sciences has good record of placements and students are placed in renowned organizations like Tech Mahindra, Genpact, Karvy Stock Broking Ltd , ADP , CoCubes and so on. The School of Management Sciences invites students Into leadership practice immersed in real-world challenges .In every case, class, event, and activity, students are asked not only to study leadership, but to demonstrate it.

The school aims at providing good education systems to the future entrepreneurs. It aims at inculcating discipline, Creativity and moral values in the Students. In the course period of 2 years a student is been taught all sorts of skills required for their settlement. The activities conducted in the school helps the student in improving their communication skills in getting out their hidden talents and mostly helpful to learn job skills required for their placement.

COMPUTER CENTRE :

At the School of Management Sciences, the intention to keep our institute at the forefront of technology applications in management education. This implies constantly innovating, evolving as well as adapting to changing realities.

We take a broad approach that not just involves the faculty in the computer center, but the infrastructure backup in the libraries, class rooms, video-conferencing facilities and the Internet. Faculty, staff and students play crucial roles in identifying needs, new technologies and using applications in creative ways. We harness the role of technology as a critical enabler in all our operations and hence the team includes representation from the all the student societies, recruitment & media team along with core faculty support.

SMS has the among the most modern, state-of-the-art computer centers with over 120 computer systems. Along with this computers are available in the library, class rooms and lecture theaters while faculty has individual computers and laser printers in their rooms. The entire campus has fully wifi network based.
