About the Department

The Mechanical Engineering department was established in 2009, with the prime motto to offer surreal education to the aspirants. The department offers both B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering for its students. The initial intake was 60, and the number has only increased in the later years, because of the unparalleled educational services provided by us.

☛ The Department offers a four-year course of Bachelors Degree (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 120 seats.

☛ The Department also offers a two-year course of Postgraduate Degree (M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 18 seats.

☛ The Department is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in the year 2018.

The responsibility of educating the students is dealt efficiently by our highly qualified faculty. They have phenomenal expertise in all mechanical engineering specializations, and hence, they explain the concepts clearly to the students. The classroom coaching is highly competent, and it plays an important role in the academic performances and careers of the students.

Also, the state-of-art laboratories enable the students to participate in the practical sessions effectively. Due to the availability of advanced lab equipment, they can conduct various experiments and research activities, proving to be immensely useful to them.

Further, the presence of CAD laboratory in the campus encourages the students to implement different concepts. The laboratory consists of Design Software, like Pro-E, AutoCAD, etc., and Simulation Software, like ANSYS. This software can be used for a wide variety of research work and academic projects, and hence they are indispensable for the careers of the mechanical engineering students.

The department also features a CNC machine, which is usually used in industries. Our idea is to impart impeccable practical training to the students on the campus itself so that they will be ready to tackle challenging job roles after completing their studies. And, this idea of ours has led to astounding results.

We focus on practical training more because we have access to numerous companies in this sector, as we are in close proximity to the industrial hub. We know the requirements of these companies better, and hence, train our students accordingly, so that the requirements of the mechanical industry in terms of manpower and technology are met by us.
