Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings.
Civil engineering is the oldest engineering discipline and it is broken into several sub-disciplines including environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, municipal or urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, coastal engineering, surveying, and construction engineering.
The Department of Civil engineering was established in the year 2010 and has lived upto its expectations to be one of the top Civil Engineering colleges in Telangana. with an intake of 30. The various areas of teaching expertise of the faculty include structural engineering, water resource engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, and Engineering geology.
