ABOUT DEAN - SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING
Dr. G. Janardhana Raju is a dedicated academician and accomplished professional committed to enhancing the quality of education and inspiring students towards academic excellence and holistic development. He has 27 years of professional experience, including 25 years in teaching and 2 years of industrial experience as an SAP MM Consultant.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in 2006, M.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, Tirupati, in 1999, and B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from KSRM College of Engineering, Kadapa, in 1996.
He has published and presented 70 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences and has guided two Ph.D. scholars to successful completion. He has completed 16 SWAYAM–NPTEL certification courses, attended 34 FDPs/STTPs/workshops, and delivered more than 20 invited lectures at reputed institutions. He has also organized several faculty development programmes, conferences, technical events, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
As Convener of the Industry–Institution Interaction Cell (IIIC) since November 2022, he has facilitated approximately 250 paid internships for students. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI). He has also served as an Executive Committee Member for four years and an Editorial Body Member for two years at the IEI Kadapa Local Centre.
Throughout his career, he has served in various academic positions, including Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor, and Head, at reputed institutions such as KSRM College of Engineering, Kadapa; VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad; and Guru Nanak Engineering College, Ranga Reddy District.
His areas of interest include Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Optimization Techniques, Entrepreneurship, Yoga, and Meditation. Guided by his motto, “Hard work is the only key to success,” he continues to contribute to academic excellence, innovation, institutional development, and student success.

Engineering is the only means to accomplish the pursuit of highest technical education, and serve the society efficiently. This prestigious course is offered with the likes of international standards at our college, to transform the students into the marvels of science and technology.
The metamorphosis starts in our classrooms, where the students experience incredible teaching skills, and their brains are instilled with a wide array of engineering concepts, including the cutting edge technologies prevalent in the global arena. The students are nurtured with phenomenal technical aspects, which take their skills and capabilities to a whole new level.
Our emphasis on the students’ excellence reaches out to the laboratories as well, because we believe that the practical experience is worth a lot than the theoretical sessions. Therefore, the engineering labs at our campus display modern equipment and highly skilled lab personnel, which assist our students in focusing on the practical sessions.
We concentrate on the core development of the engineering students, so that they can attain impeccable theoretical and practical skills in the subjects. We work relentlessly to assist our students to walk through the road to success in their careers.
