The School of Engineering &  School of Pharmacy,  Nalla Narasimha Reddy Group of Institutions – an Integrated campus, Chowdariguda, Near Narapally, Korremula X Road, Ghatkesar (M), Ranga Reddy District, Hyderabad, Telangana, have  conducted a  National Level  Students’ Technical Symposium  – Tech Samprathi-2K16 & Pharma Samprathi-2K16 – A right way for taking technology to the Society,  on 8th and 9th of January, 2016 in their integrated campus.

About Tech-Samprathi-2K16 & Pharma Samprathi 2K16

Tech Samprathi-2K16 is a two day National Level Technical Symposium and its objective is to create a horizon where great minds meet and work together for emerging technology. It is a strong effort towards recognizing and supporting the new ideas which will revolutionize the current trends in Technology. It will extend its focus on challenging new boundaries and will be a platform of ingenuity and innovation to lead the young generation to a different era. It is a plethora of sport events where fund and excitement dwells, offers a unique and scintillating cultural extravaganza as well.

The objective of the Pharma-Samprathi-2K16 is mainly to give opportunity to the students of the Pharmacy to bring about universal changes in the advancement and development of Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as to meet the leading pharmaceutical companies of the Country and also to exchange innovate ideas between those companies and medical healthcare providers.

The inaugural function commenced on 8th January, 2016 at 10-00 AM is in the Conference hall of the Institution. Dr. N.Yadaiah, Registrar, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest for the Inaugural function.

Dr. S.Karunanidhi, Scientist-G & Director, Control Systems Laboratory, RCI, Hyderabad and Dr. P.Suresh, Scientist-E & Deputy Director, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad have kindly consented to be the Guests of Honour for the Inaugural function on 8th January, 2016.

The Inaugural function of the Tech Fest 2K16 has commenced with the Jyothiprajwalana by the Dignitaries followed by the Invocation song by the students.

Dr. G.Janardhana Raju, Dean, School of Engineering and Convenor of Tech-Samprathi-2K16 has welcomed the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, delegates, participants and Members of the Faculty and staff. He has informed that there was an overwhelming response from the Faculty all over the country. More than 350 Paper Presentations have been received for the Tech Fest.

Dr. C.Krishna Mohan, Dean, School of Pharmacy and the Convenor of Pharma Samprathi 2K16 has thanked the Management of NNRG to provide adequate facilities and support for the conduct of the National Level Symposium- Pharma Samprathi 2K16. The School of Pharmacy is having sophisticated equipment and Infrastructure and a beautiful Animal house approved by the CPCSEA, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The students and faculty are participating in various Association activities, Conferences, Symposiums and conducted Mega Free Medical Camp and Blood Donation Camps. The Pharma Samprathi 2K16 is an opportunity to the Pharma students to utilize the facilities and to bring out the hidden talent and strive to build a better Nation through quality education in Pharmacy sector. There are about 250 papers presented in the Pharma Samprathi.

Dr. C.V.Krishna Reddy, Director, NNRG has stated in his address that the Nalla Narasimha Reddy Education Society’s Group of Institutions, has reached its peak almost with top Engineering Colleges. The Institution is having sophisticated equipment and infrastructure and the Management is giving all support to make all the Departments as “Productive Units”. The Institution is conducting the Technical Fests and Events every year and Top level scientists and eminent personalities in Engineering and Pharmacy field have visited the Institution. He narrated the recent International Conference organized by the School of Management Sciences on “ Challenges and Emerging Trends in Management and Technology” and that nearly 170 Research Scholars have presented papers in the said International Conference. The Institution is putting more efforts to focus on Quality Education and Industry linkage for Academic advancement and placement opportunities to the students.

Dr. S.Karunanidhi, Scientist-G & Director, Control Systems Laboratory, RCI, Hyderabad, and Guest of Honour, in his inspirational address to the delegates, participants, members of the faculty, staff and students, has emphasized the need for getting “ Success” manthra in the human life and to enjoy joyful work for getting quality education within everybody. He has explained the concept of the Human brain and systematic functioning of all activities using technology. He congratulated the Conveners of the Tech Samprathi and Pharma Samprathi for having more than 350 and 250 Paper presentations for the symposium, respectively.

Dr. P.Suresh, Scientist-E & Deputy Director, National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad, and Guest of Honour, in his emotional speech, has stressed the need for the conduct of research activities every time, without wasting even a minute, and to do the hard work for getting success all the while. He narrated that there are adequate opportunities and Animal facilities to the students in the Society to focus attention on the research activities, for which uniform guidelines have been given by the UGC and Government Funding Agencies which can be utilized by the students to get successful progress in their career.

Prof. N.Yadaiah, Registrar, JNTUH, Hyderabad and Chief Guest for the Inaugural function has congratulated the Management, Director and Deans of the School of Engineering and Pharmacy for the organization of the National Level Symposium “ Tech Samprathi & Pharma Samprathi-2k16” and appreciated that it is a wonderful event for the Engineers and Pharmacists. He further added that it is a stepping stone for the conduct of Research activities, developing and advancing innovative ideas, talents and showcasing of technological developments by the students. He has stated that there is an acute shortage of talented teachers in the Educational Institutions. The students have to put more emphasis on the fundamentals to get suitable opportunities for getting jobs. JNTUH is taking all measures for providing quality education in all the Engineering Colleges, for which all the stake holders, Managements, Alumni, students and staff have to participate actively in the interested areas to achieve the objective of realization of quality education. He has also highlighted the “ Choice Based Credit System” ( CBCS) implemented by the UGC by initiating several measures to bring quality, efficiency and excellence in the Higher Education System of the Country, and to enhance academic standards, innovation and improvements in curriculum, Teaching learning Process, Examination He has also informed the importance of the Outcome Based Education which is an Educational Philosophy where the teaching and learning approach that is based upon a predetermined set of expected outcomes.

In conclusion, Sri N.Narasimha Reddy, Secretary of NNRG has felicitated the Chief Guest and Guests of Honour with Mementos and shawls as a mark of respect.

Dr. G.Janardhana Raju, Dean, School of Engineering and Convenor of the Tech Fest has announced the schedule of programme of Presentation of papers by the Delegates and requested to proceed to their concerned Departments for conduct of the various events and activities.
