Computer Aided Drafting of Buildings (CAD) Lab
Introduces AutoCAD software as a design and drafting tool for architecture and interior design. AutoCAD design software is widely used in the Architectural Design and Drafting professions. Create, annotate, edit and plot drawings using basic AutoCAD commands and features. Computer Aided Design-CAD is defined the use of information technology (IT) in the Design process. A CAD system consists of IT hardware (H/W), specialized software (S/W) (depending on the particular area of application) and peripherals, which in certain applications are quite specialised. The CAD Lab engages the imagination of the scientist/engineer to explore a variety of aspects of technological design from assembly of a complicated mechanism to the simulation of a heart pumping. The Lab has top of the line current releases of commercial software for the Design Industry; primarily engineering and architecture. The predominant software used is the Autodesk suite.

Engineering Geology Lab
This lab familiarizes the students will introduce some basic geologic principles, starting off with basic identification of geologic materials, map use and deformation of rock analogs. Then they will head outdoors to explore geologic and geophysical mapping techniques; and illustrate environmental, geologic and engineering topics through visits to local field sites. Also learn to describe rocks and rock masses in a quantitative manner to be supplemented by normal geological descriptions. Empowering them to understand the state of stress of an element of rock to devise a testing program for the characterization of rock materials and rock masses. Using methodologies they will be capable of carrying out suitable stability analyses for surface and underground structures such as tunneling, mining operations and large dams.

Environmental Engineering Lab
The Environmental Engineering Lab is one of the laboratories in civil Engineering department. The primary objective of this lab is to determine the parameters in the water sample. The parameters are PH and Turbidity, Conductivity and total dissolved solids (organic and Inorganic) Alkalinity/Acidity, Chlorides, iron, Dissolve Oxygen, Nitrates, Optimum dose of coagulant and total Phosphorous. The well-established equipment’s are used to find the parameters in the water sample.

This lab familiarizes the students with the fundamentals and basic concepts of surveying. Surveying is the technique, profession, and science of determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them and to find out areas.
In this lab students work with elements of mathematics (geometry and trigonometry). They use equipment like total stations, Chains, Dumpy Level Theodolite etc.
Surveying has been an element in the development of the human environment since the beginning of recorded history. The planning and execution of most forms of construction require it. It is also used in transport, communications, mapping, and the definition of legal boundaries for land ownership.
